Christ Church Recital Series 2019

The next and final date this year in the 2019 Organ Recital Series at Christ Church, Chelsea, SW3 4AS, is on Saturday 16 November, 6pm.

 The Organist is Roger Sayer.

Admission free with a retiring collection.

The organ at Christ Church was built in 2009 by the Dutch firm Flentrop Orgelbouw,   incorporating some 18th century pipes from the previous English instrument. The design and construction of this organ gives a more authentic voice or accent to much of the repertoire than usually heard in this country.

The organ serves not just the church but the wider community of Kensington and Chelsea, and since it was built has been one of the main teaching instruments used by the Royal College of Music.
