2010 Lent Lectures

This Lent the Nurture Group have arranged an impressive lineup of well-known speakers and topics to discuss “the Big Issues”. Following our successful pattern of previous years we will begin with the talks in St Luke’s Church and end with an informal supper in the vestry. The evenings will begin with drinks at 1900, the talk and questions at 19.15 and supper at 2000 – finishing at 2100.

The first will take place on Tuesday, March 2 on the subject of The Creation by The Revd Canon Professor Ben Quash.

Ben Quash is the first Professor of Christianity and the Arts at King’s College London. He is a Canon Theologian of Coventry Cathedral, acts as consultant to the BBC’s ‘Religion and Ethics’ department, and is developing new postgraduate courses at King’s on Faith and the Arts in London in collaboration with the National Gallery.
